The paper presents the identification of rolling element bearings faults based on sequences of sum values of short-time bispectra estimated for subsequent vibration signal windows. Identification of faults in roller bearings was performed on the basis of results obtained from a spectral analysis of received sequences sum values of short-time bispectral modules. According to generation models of vibration signals of damaged roller bearings, in the spectrum of a sequence of feature values, one should observe an increase in component power values by frequencies that are characteristic of faults in bearing and its harmonics. The obtained results of signal analyses for typical faults of roller bearings confirmed the efficiency of the developed method of roller bearings diagnostics.
