STRENGTH ANALYSIS OF A MULTI-ANGLE GUIDE USED IN BONE SURGERY USING FEM ANALYSE

The study carried out a strength analysis of a new construction form of a multi-angle guide enabling the hole to be made at a selected angle (ϕ = ± 15°). The calculations were carried out in order to select the best material variant from which the guide should be made. Geometry verification and selection of tool material was carried out on the basis of results obtained using MES. Polymer (PET, PP, PTFE) and metal (TiAlV, CrNiCo) materials were proposed for the individual elements of the guide
