OUTLINE OF THE EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF THE CITY OF RACIBORZ – DILEMMAS AND PROSPECTS

Abstract

The educational policy of the City of Raciborz 2027-2022 is a document of local law – Resolution No. XXXI/454/2017 of the Raciborz City Council of August 30, 2017. It includes items such as: directions of educational policy, school network, availability of educational offer, quality of education, care and assistance – equalizing educational opportunities, teaching staff, education management, educational base, equipping schools and institutions with equipment and teaching aids, educational model and standards, structure of education in Raciborz, employees in educational units, subsidies and expenses for educational tasks. The current resolution has a high degree of generality, which allowed for the inclusion of tasks that occurred in society and were not anticipated, such as: pandemic, war in Ukraine or inflation. In times of such dynamic
changes and enormous uncertainty, it is worth creating documents that will cover a short period of time with their perspectives. This will increase the level of satisfaction in educational and local environments.
