Sustainable development in architecture is an approach that aims to create buildings and spaces that are environmentally friendly, economically effective and conducive to people's well-being. This article presents three projects by the Danish studio
BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group) – CopenHill in Copenhagen, a multi-family housing development in Aarhus and the Danish Maritime Museum in Helsingør. All buildings, although they represent different functions, share an innovative and sustainable approach to architectural and urban solutions that aim to minimize the impact of buildings on the environment and society, while ensuring their functionality and aesthetics.
