Abstract

The Battle of Vienna, also known as the Relief of Vienna, struck on September 12, 1683. There was a key battle in the war between the Ottoman Empire and a coalition of Christian states, called the Holy League, which supported the Holy Roman Empire. This battle is important for the future of Europe.
