FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF WISDOM

Abstract

The article contains considerations on the evolution of wisdom towards
atrophy. The author is convinced that one of the significant causes of this phenomenon is
the unbalanced development of – generally speaking – wisdom, which he treats as
a system. Its structure consists mainly of ways of thinking, also called thinking styles.
So, in particular, the cause of the regression of wisdom is the highly diversified, i.e.
unbalanced development of ways of thinking. Therefore, the most space is taken up by
the presentation of particular ways of thinking. Finally, the author presented his
reflections and conclusions regarding the further unbalanced development of wisdom
and the possibility of replacing it with the sustainable one.
