EU FUNDS AS A SOURCE OF INCOME FOR THE BUDGET OF THE LUBOM MUNICIPALITY IN THE YEARS 2019-2022

Abstract

The aim is to indicate the essence of revenues from EU funds to the budget of
the Lubomia commune. The work contains content focusing on the concept of
a commune and its scope of operation, as well as financial independence. The focus was
on presenting the commune budget and its structure and operating principles. The basic
EU funds were characterized and the assumptions of the European Social Fund Plus were
described in detail. The commune's activities were analyzed taking into account
investments carried out both with its own contribution and with the support of EU funds
in 2019-2022.
