ANALYSIS OF THE CONTENT OF THE MAIN NEWS RELEASES OF SELECTED TV STATIONS ON 13.12.2024

Abstract

The article analyzes how information is presented in the news programs of
five TV stations: Telewizja TRWAM, TVN, Polsat, TVP, and Republika, focusing on
the first ten minutes of broadcasts from December 13, 2024. Special attention is given to
editorial priorities and narrative approaches regarding the anniversary of martial law in
Poland. The analysis reveals significant differences in topic selection, objectivity, and
use of emotional rhetoric. Some stations neglect key historical events, prioritizing
contemporary political issues. This study offers deeper insights into the functioning of
Poland's media landscape and its influence on public opinion.
