RACIBORZ CULTURE CENTRE AS A CENTRE FOR ANIMATION, INSPIRATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURE IN THE LOKAL COMMUNITY

Abstract

The Raciborz Culture Center is a local government unit that has been
conducting extensive cultural and educational activities for many years, for very diverse
recipients. It initiates and inspires cultural activities rather through amateur artistic
movement and broad cooperation with the local community. It willingly co-creates and
implements various programs and projects. Thanks to its extensive base and professional
staff, it has achieved a number of successes in this activity. The aim of the research was
to determine the scope of continuity and changes in the cultural activities of the
institution important in local cultural and ecological policy. Document analysis and
interview techniques with employees of the institution were used to collect the research
material. Participant observation (lasting for many years) was also important.
